My mum and her house.

My mum is very creative, and she loves to reorganize rooms to make new looks. She is a "commercial-illustrator" and now the boss of a local newspaper. She is very good at decoration and drawing.
Wonder where I get that from? ;) I visited her last week, and I loved how she have put up the real typography box, which have been used to print text in newspaper, poster etc. back in the days. I had one when I was younger, and I regret a thousand times that I throw it away back then! When I was 12, I had a "everything have to be white and new" - time.. so sad. My mum still have some of the original typography-letter-block, which have been made by a man in our family, so it also have some family-history! anyways, I'm super jealous of this. The chair is also heirloom, and then my mum painted it white. Vintage rocks!

Monkey

I won this Kaj Bojesen money in a competition. It is the original one, and now it is decorating the lamp on my desk. I think it is a fun decoration to add. The monkey is made out of wood for decoration and is therefore fragile, but if could have been a perfect toy! I like wooden things. Anyways, heres a picture of the monkey. I feel like I should name him something? 

Down to earth .

I collected my best "sleep on the floor"/low bed pictures. I had removed the legs from my box-madress and had some good nights sleep close to the floor, but then I moved into a one room apartment and now have to use the storage space underneath the bed - but I am still working on a solution to move all that stuff somewhere else. Soon I will be back sleeping on "the floor" - Do you like this, or do you prefer a tall bed, like a princess? I would love to get a futon in Japanese style, like something bade out of bamboo!!
