My mum and her house.

My mum is very creative, and she loves to reorganize rooms to make new looks. She is a "commercial-illustrator" and now the boss of a local newspaper. She is very good at decoration and drawing.
Wonder where I get that from? ;) I visited her last week, and I loved how she have put up the real typography box, which have been used to print text in newspaper, poster etc. back in the days. I had one when I was younger, and I regret a thousand times that I throw it away back then! When I was 12, I had a "everything have to be white and new" - time.. so sad. My mum still have some of the original typography-letter-block, which have been made by a man in our family, so it also have some family-history! anyways, I'm super jealous of this. The chair is also heirloom, and then my mum painted it white. Vintage rocks!
Enough of the typing for now, just enjoy the pictures I took from this corner. I will show you more from her house later. 

Monkey

I won this Kaj Bojesen money in a competition. It is the original one, and now it is decorating the lamp on my desk. I think it is a fun decoration to add. The monkey is made out of wood for decoration and is therefore fragile, but if could have been a perfect toy! I like wooden things. Anyways, heres a picture of the monkey. I feel like I should name him something?

This is how I styled the first can! The plant/mini three is from IKEA. IKEA actually have a lot of nice plants, flowers, cactus 

 I wanted to buy a lemon tree, but they only had lime left, and then you couldn't see the limes anyways, would just be "green-in-green" Next time: Lemon or orange tree for sure!Or maybe a small olive tree 

I love this, simple and so raw! I biked 8 km with the tree in heavy wind, but it's still alive, luckily! The other can (I blogged about it in this post)will soon be styled in a diffrent way, Maybe with some matte spray paint!

Small houses/apartments

How amazing is this? I looove small houses/apartment with simple interior and not so many stuff (I do have a small apartment, but I have a looot fo things, he he, and I throw things in the trash, sell and give away all the time!) Down to earth .

I collected my best "sleep on the floor"/low bed pictures. I had removed the legs from my box-madress and had some good nights sleep close to the floor, but then I moved into a one room apartment and now have to use the storage space underneath the bed - but I am still working on a solution to move all that stuff somewhere else. Soon I will be back sleeping on "the floor" - Do you like this, or do you prefer a tall bed, like a princess? I would love to get a futon in Japanese style, like something bade out of bamboo!!

Back to school!

Jeg faldt lige over billedet her på min computer, jeg tror det er fra Bo-bedre, men ikke sikker. Beklager! Jeg er helt tosset med dette simple retro look! Stolene burde kunne findes på en eller anden skole, jeg vil give det et forsøg! Retro og simpelt - tænk at de stole man altid hadet i folkeskolen kunne se så godt ud, og med de hvide vægge og tilfældigt placerede prints. Hvad syntes i? 

Hey there! I just looked through some pictures I saved on my laptop, and wanted to share this with you! Old-school retro chair. I like this super simple retro look. The styling is so simple with bright white walls, personal art prints and minimal decor things around. I always disliked these chair during my high-school years, but this picture makes me want to change my chair to these! What do you think, do you like this?
